Renée Cheng NCIDQ
Founder/Principle of Interiors
I hold a Master of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture and Design from the Academy of Art University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Saint Mary’s College. My diverse professional background includes experience in financial services, marketing, and event planning which gives me a unique, people-centered approach to interior design. With a strong foundation in psychology, I am able to deeply empathize with how individuals think, feel, and interact with their environments, allowing me to create spaces that are both emotionally resonant and highly functional.
With over 10 years of experience in the commercial interior design industry, my portfolio spans a wide range of project types, including move-in-ready market suites, life science environments, tenant improvements, restaurants, retail, multifamily, residential, and healthcare projects. Prior to founding my own firm, I worked with several well-established architectural firms in San Francisco and San Diego, gaining valuable experience on complex and high-profile projects.
André Beaudoin AIA, NCARB
Principal of Architecture
I hold a Bachelor of Architecture from the NewSchool of Architecture and Design in San Diego, California. My professional background includes international experience in China, as well as work across multiple jurisdictions in California and Washington State, providing me with a broad perspective on regional and global practice.
With over 15 years of experience in the commercial architecture industry, my portfolio includes multi‑family, mixed‑use, life science, education, core and shell, and office projects. My career spans both construction and property management, contributing to a well‑rounded understanding of the built environment.
Prior to joining Studio CBA, I worked with several well‑established architectural firms in the San Francisco Bay Area and Beijing. These roles strengthened my expertise in design, project management, and construction administration, enabling me to successfully guide complex projects from concept through completion.
